The World Weightlifting Junior championship terminated in Bucharest , Romania on Sunday , 21 June . In the competitions held during the two last days , the Asians , also , succeeded to allocate colorful medals to themselves that of course this matter in the Women section was more illustrious .

This time SALIMIKORDASIABI Behdad the vice-champion of the recent Asian Senior Championship in Taldykorgan , Kazakhstan , reaped all the gold medals. He lifted 195kg. in the Snatch , 228 kg. in the Clean & Jerk and 423 kg. in total movements . SUN Longfei from China obtained two sliver medals in Snatch and Total .
At the end of World Junior Weightlifting Competitions , 68 medals , totally including 31 gold , 21 silver and 16 bronze medals were belonged to Asians .
The considerable point of the competitions was the difference between the World records and the weights lifted by the champions in various weight categories . Firstly, no record was broken and secondly there was 20 –25 kg. Difference between the world records and the weights that were lifted by the champions in Bucharest. In some weight this difference reached to 40kg. And this shows some unpleasant reality. Of course in both Junior Women and junior men, some valuable title were belonged to the Asians either in teams or individuals, but we should accept the level of the World Junior Championship was not in the expected measures. And it means the current technical distance between the Junior Champions and Senior Champions has grown longer.
