27^th South East Asian Games will be held on 11-22 Dec 2013 in Naypyitaw , Myanmar .  It is worth pointing out that  for the first time SEA Games commenced in 1959 and was held  every two years .  The most important thing is that Myanmar  for the third time has been selected as the host of SEA Games .

It is to  be mentioned that the athletes and representatives of  countries such as Brunei , Indonesia , Laos, Malaysia , Singapore , Philippines  , Thailand , Vietnam , Myanmar  and Cambodia will take part in the above games . Furthermore , weightlifting has also included in the list of the sport fields of SEA Games  that mainly will be remarkably received and welcomed by the spectators and enthusiastic individuals .  Reportedly some countries have organized and set up  preparatory and training  camps  in other countries  ,  this matter  indicates that the SEA sport dignitaries  accentuate and emphasize on the above Games .  It is predicted that more than four thousands athletes will partake in the 27^th SEA Games.

Indonesia was the host of 26^th SEA Games in 2011 , and the  Male & Female lifters from Vietnam , Indonesia and Thailand  resolutely succeeded to achieve the majority of the available medals   in the end.  However , a female lifter of Malaysia managed to take the only gold medal in women’s 75 kg category  , it should be said that in the above category there was just one female lifter  participating in the competition .  On the other hand ,  male weightlifters from Philippines achieved some bronze medals in Men’s categories .  A Male lifter from Myanmar  ,  namely  the  current host of the 27^th SEA Games  succeeded to obtain a bronze medal  in Men’s 69kg in the presence of two famous Indonesian athletes  during the last  weightlifting competition of SEA Games .  

Usually all of the participating countries in the SEA Games make the best of their efforts and endeavors show their ability and  skills to other rivals in the course of  the Games   . This matter is  especially obvious  and can easily be noticed in the weightlifting competitions  and the powerful countries will send their champions to the contests . 

It should be mentioned that 27^th SEA Games would be considered as  the last international event of  weightlifting in 2013  and there wouldn’t be any other event  left .
